Obituary of Veronica LaBell

Veronica "Ronnie" LaBell, of Hackettstown and formerly of Landing, passed away Tuesday January 15 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. She was 65. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ronnie resided in the Landing section of Roxbury Township prior to moving to Hackettstown in 2007. She was a homemaker. Ronnie was a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens, Roxbury Fire Co #2 Ladies' Auxiliary, past president of VFW Post 2347 Netcong Ladies' Auxiliary, past president of VFW Post 2833 Ladies' Auxiliary in Kenvil where she was also past treasurer and past treasurer of MOCA Post # 15 of Whippany. She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Mt. Airy Casinos. Ronnie was an avid New York Giants fan. Devoted wife of the late Claude, Jr. (1988), loving mother of Dawn Minell and husband, Gene, Paul LaBell and wife, Eileen and Brian LaBell, adoring grandmother of Kaitlyn LaBell, Thomas LaBell, Taylor Minell and Elizabeth Kyle-LaBell, dearest niece of Henrietta Tamburella and Cecelia Walker. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Ronnie was predeceased by her father Paul Lechtanski and her mother and stepfather, Helen and Salvatore "Red" Cardinale
