Obituary of Veronica Irvine

Veronica "Ronnie" Irvine passed away May 3, 2020, at Age 87 in Millsboro, DE. She was born in New York City on November 21, 1932 to John and Margaret Space. She resided in NY prior to moving to Hopatcong along with her husband, Sam in 1976.

She worked as a book binder in NY prior to her retirement in 1997. She and Sam lived in Hopatcong until his death in 2000.

She enjoyed bocci ball, costume parties and various other events at the Hopatcong Senior Center.

In 2009 Ronnie moved to Delaware where she resided until her death.

She is survived by her daughter Susan and son in law Alden, her daughter Jackie and her husband, Geof, her step son Sam, Jr. and his wife Maureen, and her step son Ray and his wife Carol, her sister Kathy, Sister in law Stella, godson John Space and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Tuesday May 24th, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A prayer service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Ronnie will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Sam at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
