Obituary of Beverly Marlene Colabella

Beverly M. Colabella of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday May 16, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center.

She was 88 years old.

Beverly was born on April 17, 1934 in New York City to the late Eugene and the late Celia (Labovitz) Koss.

Mrs. Colabella was an administrative assistant at Picatinny Arsenal where she worked for 28 years before retiring. She attended Grace Church on the Mount and was an active member of the Hopatcong Women's Club for over 50 years. Beverly enjoyed ceramics, socializing and most importantly she cherished her time with her loving family.

Beverly is survived by her devoted children, Barbara McCurdy, Richard Colabella and wife, Marie, Neil Colabella, Sal Colabella and wife, Patricia, Dominique Beaugrand and husband, Gary and Chris Colabella and wife, Deborah. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren, Casey McCurdy, Racquel Hiben and husband, Chris, Benjamin Colabella and wife, Jennifer, Samuel Colabella and wife, Catherine, Noah Colabella and wife Katie, Christopher Colabella, Cameron Colabella, Quinten Colabella, Jennifer Colabella, Gary Beaugrand, her great-grandchildren, Christopher Hiben, Elijah Hiben, Damien McCurdy and Isabella Colabella. Beverly was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Colabella in 2009 and her son-in-law, Robert McCurdy.

Beverly’s Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Thursday, May 19th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 5:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Grace Church on the Mount - Netcong Campus, 1500 US-46, Netcong, NJ 07857. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Thursday.
