Obituary of Rosemarie A. Gallichio

Rosemarie A. Gallichio of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at The Hospice of the VNA of Northern NJ in Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Rosemarie was born on August 25, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Paul and the late Josephine (Mascara) DeFeo. Rosemarie was an office secretary for several local business and a homemaker. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting but most importantly, Rosemarie cherished her time with her loving family. Rosemarie is survived by her son, Frank Gallichio, her daughters, JoAnn Gallichio and Theresa Gallichio Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha, Michael, Shane and Nicole, her great-granddaughter, Kylie and her sisters, Joan Corrente and Catherine Benizzi. Rosemarie was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Gallichio in 1994 Rosemarie's Life Celebration Services will include a Graveside Prayer Service on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the cemetery on Tuesday morning. Rosemarie will be laid to rest with her husband Joseph immediately following the Graveside Prayer Service.
