Obituary of Raymond John Tierney, Jr.

Raymond John Tierney, Jr., of Hopatcong, passed away Friday July 22, 2022 at home.

He was 70.

Born in New York, New York on August 3, 1951 to the late Raymond John Tierney, Sr. and the late Catherine (Brady) Tierney, Ray was a warehouseman with State Warehouse in New York, New York.

He also was a letter carrier with the Hopatcong Post Office.

An assistant team leader with Hopatcong CERT, he enjoyed woodburning and building crafts.

Beloved husband of Frances (Pullis) Tierney. Devoted father of Holly Kearney and Michael Tierney. Loving grandfather of Rebeccalynn, Gianna, Ashley, Bradley, Patricia and Katherine. Dear brother of Kathleen Menzies and Rosemary Marocchi. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
