Obituary of Thomas Joseph Grillo, Jr.

Thomas J. Grillo, Jr., 58, of Mansfield, NJ passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on Tuesday July 26 , 2022 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Dover, NJ on February 25, 1964 to Thomas, Sr. and Janice (Colby) Grillo, Tom resided in Mt. Arlington prior to moving to Mansfield in 1999. He was a Sales and Marketing Director. Tom enjoyed aviation, on-line gaming, and classic cars, as well as, reading science fiction books and boating on Lake Hopatcong. He was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and a member of Rotary Club International.

Tom LOVED people. He was so kind and wonderful. He truly had a heart of gold. He never judged others and was so understanding. Tom was incredibly intelligent, curious and had a beautiful mind. He loved his wife and children beyond measure. He was also a loving son and brother.

Survivors include his wife Lisa (Ross), three sons, Thomas, III, Tyler, and Connor Grillo, parents Thomas, Sr. and Janice (Colby) Grillo, sister Lisa Sebelle and her husband William, father-in-law Wayne Ross, Sr., mother-in-law Nancy Ross, nieces and nephews William, Jr., Vivienne, Andrew, Kaleigh Sebelle, Jessica Ross and Wayne Ross, III and brothers-in-law Wayne Jr. and Steven Ross.

Tom's Life Celebration will include visitation on Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 noon at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
