Obituary of Joanne Olezeski

Joanne Olezeski, 72, of Allamuchy, NJ passed away on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at Newton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Teaneck, NJ on January 17, 1950 to the late John and Ann (Sirube) Matera, Joanne has resided in Stanhope prior to moving to Allamuchy five years ago. She loved spending time with her family. Most recently making memories with her new grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was predeceased by her husband Thomas, a sister Barbara and a brother Junie.

Survivors include two daughters Tara and Nicole and husband Kevin, a son John and wife Bonnie, three grandchildren, Kensley, Kevin and Brianna, a brother Ronald and wife Joyce, a sister Marilyn and many nieces and nephews.

Joanne's Life Celebration will include visiting on Friday August 5th, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered on Friday evening at 6:30 PM the funeral home. Joanne will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676 on Saturday August 6th, 2022 at 12:30 PM. All are invited to meet directly at the Mausoleum for committal prayers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Joanne's memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
