Obituary of Theresa Wienckowski

Theresa Wienckowski, formerly of Lake Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old. Theresa was born on June 28, 1942 in Wilkes Barre, Pa. to the late Thomas and the late Jenny (Musto) Kennedy.

Theresa was a receiving clerk at BJ's Wholesale Club for many years before retiring. Mrs. Wienckowski was a longtime resident of Lake Hopatcong. She enjoyed camping but most importantly, Theresa cherished her time with her loving family.

Theresa is survived her son, Walter Wienckowski, Jr., and his wife, Alexandra, her daughter, Theresa Bruno and her cherished grandchildren, Josef Bruno, Amanda Bruno, Matthew Bruno, Gabriella Wienckowski, Brianna Wienckowski and Jonathan Wienckowski. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Walter J. Wienckowski, Sr. in 2002.

Theresa's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Friday August 19th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. Theresa will be laid to rest privately with her husband at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ.
