Obituary of Anna Bonda

Anna Bonda, 91, of Dover, formerly of Lake Hopatcong, passed away on Sunday August 28, 2022 at Excelcare at Dover.

Born in Bronx, NY, Anna resided in the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township prior to moving to Dover four years ago. Anna was a member of the Hopatcong Seniors, she enjoyed reading, painting, crossword puzzles and taking care of her cats. She cherished the yearly reunions with her old friends from the Bronx which Anna would host in Lake Hopatcong.

Anna was predeceased by her husband Arthur, sister Marilyn Russo, two brothers William and John Ward and two nephews William and John Russo.

Survivors include her nieces Joanne Netrosio (Joseph) and Jean Baker (John ), nephews Robert Ward and Joseph Russo (Sarah), several grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

Anna's Life Celebration will include visiting on Wednesday September 7, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Anna's cremated remains will be laid to rest with her late husband at a later date.
