Obituary of Frances Ross

Frances Ross, 93 of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday September 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Netcong on April 21, 1929 to the late Salvatore and Theresa Milone, Frances was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Netcong High School Class of 1947.

Frances loved to cook and bake and was a passionate NY Yankees fan. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael Church in Netcong, member of the Netcong Senior Citizens and past member of the Netcong Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. Frances greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles, grandson Gregory, brothers Carmine and Chester Milone, sisters Stella Grish, Josephine Preziosi, Jenny DiModica and Mary Pelt.

Survivors include her two sons Michael Ross and his wife Rita and Charles Ross, Jr and his wife Patty, grandchildren Michael, Jr., Vincent, Teresa, Nick, Chuck, Neal and Eric, great grandchildren Alexis, Jessica, Amy and Luca and several nieces and nephews.

Frances' Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday October 2 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday October 3 beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Michael RC Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ. Frances will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt.
