Obituary of Alan D. Juskus

Alan D. Juskus of Hopatcong passed away Friday September 30, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown.

He was 87.

Born in Jersey City, he has lived in Hopatcong since 1968.

Prior to his retirement, Alan was an elevator mechanic out of Local #1 with Schindler Elevator in Morristown.

Past member of the Kiwanis of Hopatcong and a loyal Met fan, he was a parishioner of St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong. He enjoyed boating, gardening, winters in the Pocono’s, cruising, cooking, bowling and dancing with his late wife, Rosemarie.

Beloved husband of the late Rosemarie (Runge) Juskus. Devoted father of Linda Bianculli (James), Carl Juskus (Donna), Michael Juskus (Helen) and Thomas Juskus (Alison Bates). Loving grandfather/great grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Alan’s Life Celebration on Tuesday October 4 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday October 5 at 10:00AM at St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong. All are invited to meet directly at church Wednesday morning. Alan will be laid to rest following the Mass with his wife Rosemarie in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong, or to a charity of a person’s choice.
