Obituary of Susan Healy

Susan (Sue) Healy of Hopatcong, NJ went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was 87 years old. Susan was born on February 27, 1935 in Northfield, NJ to the late Samuel Willis Clark and the late Elizabeth (nee Greene) Clark. Susan was a registered nurse who dedicated her career to the healthcare profession, specializing in geriatrics, including teaching CNAs. In addition to her R.N., she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Susan was fiercely dedicated to her family and cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susan was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a long-time member of Grace Church on the Mount in Netcong, NJ. She was deeply involved in many of the programs, including Joy Fellowship, and Seniors Ministry. Susan had a passion for sharing the hope of Jesus worldwide (Missions) and participated in several missions trips, including to Ukraine, she remained deeply committed to the people of Ukraine. Susan was a fan of the NY Giants, loved to travel and was a dedicated friend, as exhibited by her lifelong friendships . Susan is survived by her devoted children, Carrie Ballone, Gregory J. Healy and Martia Sue Healy. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Clem Healy. Susan's Life Celebration Services will be held, Saturday, November 12 at 11:00 am at Grace Church, 1500 US 46, Netcong, NJ 07857
