Obituary of Adriana E. Deile

Adriana E. Deile of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, November, 20, 2022 at The Oaks Care Center in Denville, NJ surrounded by her loving family.  She was 86 years old.  Adriana was born on February 11, 1936 in Hoboken, NJ to the late Edward and the late Henrietta (nee DeBeuckelaer) Dulfer.

Adriana was a long-time resident of Landing, NJ and she was employed by Omega Warehouse in Totowa, NJ for many years before retiring.  Adriana enjoyed baking and arts & crafts but most importantly, she loved spending time with her cherished family and friends.  Mrs. Deile was a eucharistic minister at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Mt. Arlington where she was instrumental in starting the food pantry.  Adriana was a tireless volunteer at the Family Promise for the Homeless and the Angel Connection.  In addition, Adriana was a member of the Cranberry Lake Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and she also was involved with several animal rescue charities.

Adriana is survived by her devoted son, August Deile and husband, Bastian Jeria, her siblings, Carol Ann Oliver-Greene, Louis Dulfer and wife, Karen and Frank Dulfer and wife, Maribeth.  She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Charles Deile in 1977 and her daughter, Audrey Deile Reitschmied in 2001.

Adriana’s Life Celebration will include a Memorial Service at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 50 Edgemere Avenue in Mt Arlington, NJ to be announced in the near future.   Adriana will be laid to rest at The Sparta Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery in Sparta, NJ with her husband and daughter.  All funeral arrangements are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.  For memorial donations, please consider St. Peters Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society.
