Obituary of Toni Anne Valerio

Toni Anne Valerio, 61, of Mt. Arlington, passed away peacefully on Monday December 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Galesburg, IL on September 28, 1961 to the late Anthony and Lois (Kielinen) Archibald, Toni resided in Forest Lakes of Byram Township prior to moving to Mt. Arlington. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Montclair State University and worked at Selective Insurance for over 25 years. Toni and Paul wed at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Mt. Arlington, NJ.

Toni enjoyed boating and was member of the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club. Her favorite things included walking around the lake, reading, home decorating, watching Bravo TV and being a doting grandmother, "Gigi". She loved a glass of pinot grigio and a good margarita, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and the late family dog, "Allie".

Survivors include her husband of 38 years Paul, two daughters Nicole Valerio and Erica Collins and her husband Alexander, granddaughter Maxine Collins, three sisters Susan Lavin and her husband Peter, Sarah Kelly and her husband David and Betsy Kuntz and her husband Walter, sister-in-law Doreen Sparacino and her husband Tony and nine nieces and nephews.

Toni's Life Celebration will include a memorial service on Saturday December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 50 Edgemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856.
