Obituary of Thomas Denis Healy

Thomas Denis Healy of Landing passed away Thursday December 22, 2024 at home.

He was 80.

Born in Brooklyn on October 13, 1942 to the late Denis and the late Virginia (Gallagher) Healy, he has lived in Landing since 1969.

Prior to his retirement, Thomas was a firefighter with the FDNY Ladder Company #25 for 35 years. Prior to this he was with the NYPD for three years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, many trips to Florida and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Hodgert) Healy. Devoted father of Heather Healy, Kimberly Healy and Thomas Healy and his wife Karyn. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Diana and Kaylee Healy. Dear brother of Virginia Cannon, Denis Healy and the late Vincent Healy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Thomas's Life Celebration on Sunday, January 8 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM in the funeral home. A Prayer Service will begin at 3:00PM followed by a Firefighters Service.
