Obituary of Robert W. Mason

Robert W. Mason, 61, of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township passed away on Thursday December 29, 2022 at his home.

Born in Jersey City on March 21, 1961 to Anne (Scalley) Mason and the late George Mason, Robert was a skilled restoration specialist and worked on refurbishing many churches and cathedrals for Imhoff Restorations in Dover, NJ.

He was a graduate of Parsippany High School and has resided in the Lake Hopatcong area for nearly 40 years.

In addition to his father, Robert was predeceased by his stepfather William Newman.

Survivors include his mother, Anne Newman, sister Cheryl Mason, Uncle John Scalley and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are several members of the Newman family.

Arrangements for Robert are being held privately and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Robert's memory to a charity of your choice.
