Obituary of Bennie A. D'Alessio

Bennie A. D'Alessio of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old. Bennie was born on June 28, 1945 in Newark, NJ to the late Sabastian and the late Margaret D'Alessio

Bennie was a long-time resident of Hopatcong, NJ. He was an accountant with Engelhard in Edison for many years before retiring and proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Mr. D'Alessio was a parishioner at St. June RC Church in Hopatcong and an avid coin collector. Most importantly, Bennie loved spending time with his cherished family and friends.

Bennie is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Carol Ann (nee Kretchmar), his sons, Bennie D'Alessio (Cindy) and Anthony D'Alessio (Denise) and his brother, Peter D'Alessio.

Bennie's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering to be announced by the family in the future. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.
