Obituary of Edward R. Schiele Jr.

Edward R. Schiele, Jr. of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10,2023 at home. He was 32 years old. Edward was born on March 4, 1991 in Dover, NJ. Eddie was a long-time resident of Hopatcong, NJ. He enjoyed cooking and sharing great meals with his favorite people. Most importantly, Eddie loved spending time with his cherished family and many friends. He will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh and generosity. Eddie is survived by his devoted mother, Susan Westbrook, his step-father, Joseph Westbrook, his sister, Codi Bevilacqua and his lifelong best friend, Matthew Scricco. Additional survivors include his grandmother, Doris Twaits, his girlfriend, Katie Reiger, his "second mother" Anna Francescone and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his father, Edward R. Schiele, Sr. in 2007. Eddie's Life Celebration will include a Visitation on Wednesday, March 15th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with an 5:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
