Obituary of Michael John Drinka

Michael John Drinka, 75, of Roxbury Township passed away peacefully on Monday March 20, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus.

Born on June 30, 1947 in Queens, NY to the late Michael and Viola (Gasparik), Michael resided in Astoria, NY prior to moving to Roxbury in 1985. He earned a bachelor's degree from St. Francis College, a master's degree from St. John's University and was Vice President of Health Benefits at The Segal Co. of New York, NY.

Michael was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael's Church, Netcong and enjoyed attending various religious events. He also was fond of listening to "oldies" music, watching classic movies, playing tennis and gardening. Michael's greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and family.

Survivors include his beloved wife Anna (Vrbovska), two sons Michael and Ryan and four grandchildren Jayce, Lillian, Angelina and Vincenzo.

Michael's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Saturday, March 25 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM St. Michael RC Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ. Michael will be laid to rest following the conclusion of Mass at Union Cemetery in Hackettstown accompanied by Catholic committal prayers.
