Obituary of Camille Katherine Pirrello

Camille K. Pirrello of Cedar Grove, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 77 years old. Camille was born on July 5, 1945 in Bayonne, NJ to the late George and the late Nazerina (nee LaGrecca) Barbito.

Mrs. Pirrello was a longtime resident of Cedar Grove, NJ and an active parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield, NJ. She was a supervisor at Cargille Laboratories in Cedar Grove, NJ for many years before retiring. Camille enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, going to the casinos, cooking and baking but most importantly, she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and devoted family.

Camille is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Carlo, her devoted children, Danielle Scerbo and Joseph Pirrello. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren; Emily Pirrello, Jenna Scerbo, Nicole Scerbo, Alexandra Scerbo and Gabriella Scerbo, her brother, John Barbito, her sisters-in-law, Ann Rezza and Josephine Caponigro and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her sisters; Georgette Henry and Teresa Fitzgerald, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Tony and Mary Pirrello, Frank and Mary Pirrello, Salvatore and Lois Pirrello and Rocco Caponigro.

Camille's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, March 30 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a Funeral Mass offered at 11:30am at Good Shepherd RC Church, 48 Tranquility Road (Rt. 517), Andover, NJ. Camille will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield following the funeral mass.
