Obituary of Caroline Holmes

Caroline Holmes of Roxbury Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was 93 years old. Caroline was born on August 14, 1929 in Dover, NJ to the late Clarence and the late Nellie (nee Malson) Caskey. Caroline was a long-time resident of Roxbury Twp. and she was employed as a factory assembly technician for many years before retiring. Caroline enjoyed cooking, baking, watching soap operas and spending time with her cherished family and friends. In her younger years, she was an active member of the Salvation Army. Caroline is survived by her devoted children, Carolyn Holmes-Morris, Nellie E. Reyes and Charlotte Belavilas. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren; John C. Harshanyi and Bonnie L. Valentin, her great-grandchildren; Matthew Harshanyi, Darren Hess, Dylan Hess, Michael Lineburg, Timothy Greco and Raymond G. Reyes and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Charles Holmes in 2007 and her grandson, Mark A. Harshanyi in 1999 Caroline's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering to be announced by the family in the future.
