Obituary of Dorothy Irene Louridas

Dorothy Irene Louridas, 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Hopatcong, NJ on Saturday, April 1st, 2023. Dorothy was born June 16, 1928 on a farm in Wantage, N.J. in Sussex County, to the late Seymour R. Decker & late Iva Van Orden. She resided in Paterson, NJ for many years prior to moving to Hopatcong.  Dorothy worked  at Precision Machine Shop in Wallington, NJ as the shipping and receiving manager.  While she enjoyed gardening and cross-stitching,  Dorothy loved and cherished her family, and enjoyed working on her ancestry in her later years. 

Dorothy is survived by two daughters Debra Van Ness and Paula Gay and her husband Tom.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by the love of her life, Paul Louridas, her two daughters Christin Puglise and Victoria Pomarico. Also two son-in-laws Joseph Puglise Sr and Richard T. Van Ness, as well as her grandson Richard T. Van Ness Jr.  

A cremation will be held privately.
