Obituary of Glenn R. Olenick

Glenn R. Olenick of Landing, NJ passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at home. He was 61 years old. Glenn was born on August 27, 1961 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Richard and the late Joan (nee Zelesko) Olenick.

Glenn was a raised in West Berlin, NJ and resided in Landing, NJ for the past 34 years. Mr. Olenick was a journeyman elevator mechanic with Local Union #1. He worked for Liberty Elevator in Paterson, NJ and Schindler Elevator in Morristown, NJ for many years before retiring. Mr. Olenick was a member of the Short Hills Country Club where he had many friends. Glenn was a lifetime member of the NRA and an avid bench rest shooter. He enjoyed bowling, darts and riding his Harley but most importantly, Glenn cherished his time with his loving family and many friends.

Glenn is survived by his devoted daughters, Victoria Cambell and Patricia Olenick and his cherished grandchildren, Taj and Kai. Additional survivors include his father, Richard Olenick, his brother, Rob & his family, Aunt Cookie and Uncle Jeff, his feline companion, Marley and many dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Joan Olenick

Glenn's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Tuesday, May 30th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a 6:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.
