Obituary of Lois Rinaldi

Lois Rinaldi of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old. Lois was born on January 6, 1928 in West Caldwell, NJ to the late John and the late Lillian Haylett Van Ness. Mrs. Rinaldi was a financial advisor employed by JC Penny in Rockaway, NJ for many years before retiring. Lois enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, traveling and the beach but most importantly she cherished her time with her family and friends. Lois is survived by her devoted children, Philip Rinaldi, Jacqueline Rinaldi and Kathleen Dahn, her cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle and Mark and her great great-granddaughter, Cicely. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Leonard in 2014 and her son, David. Lois's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Thursday, June 8th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be Graveside Prayer Service on Friday morning, June 9th at 10:00 am at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 60 Prospect Street in Caldwell, NJ. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the cemetery on Friday morning. For memorial donations, please consider the charity of your choice.
