Obituary of Craig L. McCarrick

Craig L. McCarrick of the Glasser Section of Hopatcong Borough passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on Sunday, July 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old. Craig was born on November 8, 1951 in Sussex Borough, NJ to the late Calvin and the late Mildred (nee LaBarr) McCarrick.

Craig was a graduate of Sparta High School and a long-time resident of the Glasser Section of Hopatcong Borough. Mr. McCarrick was a Transfer Truck Driver for Kuiken Brothers for many years. Craig was a Boy Scout Leader and he dabbled in woodworking. In addition, Craig enjoyed many outdoor activities but most importantly he cherished his time with his loving family.

Craig is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carol (Gulick), his children, Craig McCarrick, Jr. (Tina), Jennifer McCarrick (Chris) and David McCarrick, his brothers, Mark McCarrick and Blake McCarrick, and his 4 cherished grandchildren. Additional survivors include his great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Sybil Russel.

Craig's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, July 16th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Prayer Service offered at 3:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
