Obituary of Mario Todisco

Mario "Buddy" Todisco,75, of Hopatcong, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at home surrounded by his most loving family.

Born on November 3, 1947 in New York City to the late Frank and Christina (DiGennaro) Todisco, Buddy moved to Hopatcong as a young boy. Buddy was a graduate of Sparta High School Class of 1968. He worked as an Environmental Specialist for Key Environmental in Dover, NJ.

Buddy loved deep sea fishing, summers at "the trailer" and his 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. He enjoyed cooking, but most importantly Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially for Sunday dinners.

Buddy is predeceased by his wife Lula. He is survived by sisters Paulette Naples, Josephine Lamb, his children Annamarie, Frank and wife Tracey and Anthony and wife Kelly, eight grandchildren Mary Hess, Brittany Marcinkiewicz and husband Dylan, Robert Hess and wife Brianna, AJ Todisco, Morgan Todisco, Nicholas Todisco, Ryan Todisco and Mario Todisco and five great grandchildren Robbie Hess, Michael Finley, Ryker Hess, Austin Marcinkiewicz and Charlotte Hess and numerous nieces and nephews.

Buddy's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Saturday September 2, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
