Obituary of Wayne P. Dreitlein

Wayne P. Dreitlein of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 67 years old. Wayne was born on February 17, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. Wayne was a longtime resident of Hopatcong and he co-owned several restaurants in Eastern Pennsylvania before retiring. Wayne enjoyed cooking, watching football and keeping up on political news but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Wayne is survived by his loving mother, Grace Dreitlein, his dear cousins, Bruce and Jackie Fenimore and many additional extended family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his father, Frank in 2013. Wayne's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Sunday, September 10th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Catholic Blessing offered at 3:30 pm at Leber Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Wayne will be interred privately at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
