Obituary of Grace Dreitlein

Grace Dreitlein of Hopatcong passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Merry Heart Care Center, Succasunna.

She was 98 years old.

Born in Hoboken to the late Dominick and the late Barbara (Romano) DiBari, she lived in Brooklyn New York prior to moving to Hopatcong.

Grace worked for Grant's for 29 years as an Administrative Assistant. She then worked for Nabisco as an Executive Secretary and retired from there after 21 years. After retirement, a lover of children, she worked for the YMCA West Morris in Randolph as a day care provider. She was a volunteer for St. Clare's Hospital in Dover for many years and volunteered for the Dope Open Golf tournament and the Interfaith Group.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake RC Church in Mt. Arlington, a member of its Rosary Altar Society, served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Columbiettes Council #5114. Grace was also a member of the Hopatcong Senior Citizens.

Beloved wife of the late Frank Dreitlein. Devoted mother of the late Wayne Dreitlein. Dear sister of Edith Fenimore (the late Tony), Richard DiBari (Rachael) and the late Robert DiBari (the late Rose). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Grace's Life Celebration on Saturday, November 4 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, November 6 at 10:00AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong.

Following mass, Grace will be laid to rest with her husband and son in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township.
