Obituary of Stephen A. Bacich

Stephen A. Bacich, 62, of the Landing section of Roxbury Township passed away at home on Monday December 4, 2023.

Born on October 19, 1961 in Weehawken, NJ to the late Eugene and the late Jesse (Tamarut) Bacich, Stephen was a graduate of Riverdell High School Class of 1979 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Lehigh University Class of 1983.

Stephen worked as a computer programmer at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and also was Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York City for 25 years. Stephen enjoyed woodworking and building with LEGOs, as well as, mystery novels and genealogy research. Stephen's main goal in life was caring for his family and his home.

He was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in New York City, the Paramus Music Parents Association and the Kolo Dance Group.

Survivors include his wife Barbara (Brooks), three children; Kristina, Joseph and Andrea Bacich and his sister; Laura Sarubbi and her husband Joe. Also surviving are nieces Kate, Anna and Teresa Sarubbi.

Stephen's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday December 9, 2023 from 2:00PM – 6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 3:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
