Obituary of Kenneth W. Morris

Kenneth "Mo" Morris of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was 81 years old. Kenneth was born on March 12, 1942 in West Caldwell, NJ to the late Lawrence and the late Dorothy Morris.

Kenneth was employed by the Hopatcong Borough Department of Public Works for many years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ. Kenneth was a volunteer fireman with Northwood Engine Company #2. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, dancing and weekly "summit meeting" with his buddies.

Kenneth is survived by his devoted niece, Susan Schibinger and her husband Karl, his devoted nephew Richard Morris and many dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Ann in 2014 and his brother Lawrence H. Morris, Jr.

Kenneth's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Tuesday, December 19th from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Prayer Service offered at 11:00am at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. Kenneth will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Restland Memorial Park Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
