Obituary of Helen M. Killian

Helen M. Killian of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2022 at Merry Heart Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old. Helen was born on June 3, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to the late John and the late Mary (Kolesar) Bendick.

Helen was a bookkeeper at Timely Advertising in Plainfield, NJ. Mrs. Killian was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stanhope, NJ. Helen enjoyed playing scrabble, bowling and shopping but most importantly, she loved spending time with her cherish family.

Helen is survived by her devoted daughter, Donna Cuff and her husband, Charles, her cherished grandchildren, Dan and Heather, her great-grandchildren, Archer and Mila, her sister, Ruth and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward Johnston and Charles Killian and her brother, John Bendick, Jr.

Helen's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Tuesday, December 19th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 20th 9:00 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 143 Brooklyn-Stanhope Rd, Stanhope, NJ. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the Church on Wednesday morning. Helen will be laid to rest at Memorial Shrine Cemetery in Carverton, Pennsylvania.
