Obituary of Robert D. Ammiano

Robert D. Ammiano, 74, of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 19, 2023 at his home

Born on March 25, 1949 in Newark, NJ to the late Armand and the late Concetta (Aquilino) Ammiano, Robert has resided in Mt. Arlington for 50 years. Robert was a Mechanic and Service Advisor for more than 40 years at various locations.

Robert loved cars, especially muscle cars, and trips to Myrtle Beach (his favorite place). He was a passionate supporter of Raiders football and Yankee baseball, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sister; Anna Marie.

Survivors include his wife; Lynda (Lo Cascio), three sons; Robert Ammiano, Jr., Joseph Ammiano and wife; Allison and Vincent Ammiano, four grandchildren; Nicholas, Keira, Dominic and Louie, one brother; Richard Ammiano and two sisters Lydia Llewellyn and Gina Secor.

Robert's Life Celebration will include viewing on Tuesday December 26, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday December 27, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong, NJ.
