Obituary of Joseph Anthony Menniti

Joseph A. Menniti of Landing, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old. Joseph was born on June 18, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and the late Josephine (Santoro) Menniti.

Joseph was a CEO with Poly Vision in Long Island, NY for many years before retiring. Prior to his time at Poly Vision, Joseph spent decades at Grumman Aerospace also in Long Island. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a longtime resident of Landing, NJ. Joseph enjoyed golfing, boating and fishing but most importantly he cherished his time with his loving family.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Rita (nee Osborne) and his devoted children; Lisa Giannascoli (Daniel), Eileen Fuscaldo (William), Christine Bouey, John Menniti (Carol), Joseph Menniti, Jr. (Julia) and Stephen Menniti (Jennifer). Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren, Robert Kirby, Bridget Kirby, Joseph Kirby, David Bouey, Juliana Menniti, Dominic Menniti, Macie Fuscaldo, Rocco Menniti, Dylan Sampey and Joseph Menniti, his great grandchildren; Robert Kirby, Jr., Lillian Kirby, Donovan Kirby, Isabella Kirby and Liam Sampey, his brother, John Paparazzo, his brother-in-law, Charles LaRosa, his nephew Joseph LaRosa and his wife, Patti LaRosa. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-father, Dominic Paparazzo and his sister, Marion LaRosa.

Joseph's Memorial Services will include a Visitation on Wednesday, January 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a Catholic Prayer Service offered at 7:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
