Obituary of Sarah Gibson

Sarah Gibson of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by those who loved her dearly. She was 52 years old. Sarah was born on January 22, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY and adopted by the late Arthur and the late Marion (Rath) Gibson.

Sarah was a longtime resident of Stanhope, NJ. She enjoyed watching Disney cartoons, getting delicious milkshakes at WaWa and spending time with her cherished family and many friends. Sarah was a very happy person with an infectious smile who brought joy everywhere she went.

Sarah is survived by her beloved brothers, Mark and Jeremy Gibson, her devoted caretaker, Judith McGrath, her Avidd Group Home Family and too many dear friends to mention.

Sarah's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, January 18th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service offered at 6:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
