Obituary of Helen Frances Verdi

Helen Frances (nee: Vay) Verdi of Netcong passed away Monday November 12, 2012 at home. She was 88. Born in Dover, she was a lifelong resident of Netcong. A homemaker, Helen was a life member of both the Hackettstown and Netcong Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church in Netcong, and a member of the Budd Lake Senior Citizens. A person who enjoyed crossword and picture puzzles, knitting and crocheting, Helen has best been described as a "social butterfly" who enjoyed visiting with people and whose family was so important to her. Beloved wife of the late Chester L. (1982). Devoted mother of Jeff and his wife Michele. Loving grandmother of A.J. Cafaro. Also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
