Obituary of Ann Amato

Ann Amato of Stanhope, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was 97 years old.

Ann was born on October 27, 1926 in Stanhope, NJ to the late Michael Rencis and the late Mary Rencis (Gospodarec). She was a longtime resident of Stanhope, NJ where she resided for her entire life. Ann was a Homemaker and a beautician. She enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing, baking, bingo and the slot machines. Ann loved making her famous apple pies during the holidays for her loving family. Most importantly, Ann was a wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother who dedicated her life to making her family happy and will greatly be missed by all.

Ann is predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie, her son, Ralph & his wife, Marlene, her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Danielle and her husband Jonathan and her great granddaughters Kiera and Brianna whom she adored. She is also pre-deceased by her siblings Joseph, James and Helen.

Ann's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday, February 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ.
