Obituary of Paul C. Holick Jr.
Paul Charles Holick, Jr., 76, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Tuesday February 27th at Morristown Medical Center.
Born in Morristown, NJ on August 1, 1947 to the late Paul C., Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Sandrue), Paul served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1969. He worked as a a carpenter for local #620 in Madison, NJ prior to his retirement. Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; Elizabeth "Betty" and son; Stephen Holick (Meredith), his most precious grandchildren; Landon, Corinne and Blaire and his siblings, Ronald Holick, David Holick (Sandy) and Barbara Vorhies. Also surviving are Paul's brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Newfoundland, Canada, as well as many nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother; John Holick and stepfather; James Dunlap.
Paul's Life Celebration will include a memorial visitation on Friday March 1 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Military honors will be offered at 7:30 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. A memorial service is scheduled for Satruday March 2 at 10:00 AM St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 50 Edgemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ. All are invited to meet at church for services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Peter's Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
