Obituary of Osvaldo Cruz-Pola

Osvaldo Cruz-Pola, 63, of Mine Hill Township passed away, peacefully, on Saturday March 2nd at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 28th, 1961, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to the late Elia Rosali Cruz and late Alicia Pola Bermudez. Osvaldo came to New Jersey in 1988 and settled in Irvington, NJ prior to moving Mine Hill Township 10 years ago.

Osvaldo's hobbies included listening to "old school" Latin music, enjoying Daisy's delicious home-cooked meals, fishing and rooting for his beloved NY Yankees. Osvaldo's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Osvaldo worked as a Machinist for the Lentron Corporation in Flanders, NJ for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; Daisy (Aleman), son; Osvaldo Cruz Jr. and wife Caroline Pena-Cruz and their children; Olivia, Catalina and Kendra, daughter; Adriana Martinez and husband Wilson and their children; Victoria and Eliana and daughter; Sheila Cruz and her daughter Shayvanna, and her grandchildren Rihanna and Aurelia.

Osvaldo's Life Celebration will include memorial visitation on Thursday March 7th from 3:00-6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 5:30PM at the funeral home.
