Obituary of Clifford J. Heilman

Clifford J. Heilman, 98, of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away on Saturday March 16, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus.

Born in Rochelle Park, NJ on April 9, 1925, Cliff resided in Totowa for 50 years, prior to moving to Mt. Arlington in 2006. Cliff served proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He was retired from his sales position at Sears & Roebuck in Rockaway, NJ.

Throughout his life, Cliff was an avid bowler, photographer and he enjoyed music. Cliff was also a sun worshiper. He was a member of the Totowa Seniors and the Mt. Arlington Seniors. Cliff loved "cruising", visiting the Jersey Shore and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Cliff was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years; Catherine "Kay" in 2018.

Survivors include his daughter; Lori McCann and son-in-law; John McCann, son Cliff Heilman and daughter-in-law; Christine Heilman, grandson Jonathan McCann and his wife; Nicole, granddaughters Nicole and Ashley Heilman and two great granddaughters.

Cliff's Celebration of Life will include a memorial gathering on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 PM at The Carriage Club, 1 Hillside Drive, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Clifford to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Arrangements are entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ.
