Samuel J. Gugliemini, "Sammy G", loving husband, dad and grandfather passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2024, surrounded by his devoted children. He was born in Hazleton, PA on March 1, 1936 to Sabato and Angelina (Lamanna) Gugliemini. Sam settled in Netcong after his proud service in the United States Army. He married his beloved wife, Antoinette in 1957 where they raised their four children.

Sam was employed by Thermal American Fused Quartz in Montville, New Jersey while raising his family and retired from BMW. Dad was elected to the County Board of Elections and ran as the Democratic Party's 1981 NJ State Senate nominee. "Mr. Mayor" was extremely proud of his involvement in the town government and was always willing to listen and help anyone.

Sam was a parishioner at St. Michaels Church.
