Obituary of Marguerite Hinterliter

Marguerite Hinterliter of Wharton, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Forest Manor Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 96 years old. Marguerite was born on January 6, 1928 in New York City to the late Vahan and the late Hripsima Keoshkerian Berberian.

Marguerite was a long-time resident of Passaic, NJ. She was a secretary at John Hancock Insurance Company in Clifton, NJ for many years before retiring. She enjoyed shopping on QVC, word searches and watching old black & white movies but most importantly, Marguerite loved spending time with her cherished family and friends.

Marguerite is survived by her devoted daughter, Tracy Dikkenberg and her husband, John, and her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Millian, Amanda Millian and Sara Dikkenberg. Additional survivors include her great-grandson, Rory Posey, her sister, Alice Albright, her sister-in-law, Eleanor Emmetts and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Marguerite was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Russell in 1994.

Marguerite will be laid to rest privately with her family in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, NJ.
