Obituary of Genevieve Poisseroux

Genevieve M. Poisseroux of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old. Genevieve was born on January 20, 1937 in Newark, NJ to the late Albert Russomano and the late Mildred Lemongello Russomano.

Genevieve was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ. Genevieve enjoyed holidays and decorating but mostly she cherished her time with her family.

Genevieve is survived by her devoted children and their spouses; Patrica & Robert Macula, William Poisseroux & Patricia Pizzi, Louis & Linda Poisseroux, Thomas & Victoria Poisseroux, and grandchildren; Michael and Anthony Macula, Alyssa Gorth, Benjamin and Spencer Poisseroux, Jeremy Markferding, Samantha Markferding-Hutt, Alexandra Poisseroux, and her great-grandchildren; Arlo Gorth, Devyn Markferding, and Jamison & Olivia Markferding.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, William A Poisseroux in 2021 whom she missed dearly.

Genevieve's Life Celebration Services will be held privately.
