Obituary of Linwood A. Altman

Linwood  Altman of Mt. Olive Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.   He was 86 years old.  Linwood was born on February 13, 1938 in Pamplico, South Carolina to the late Zollie and the late Lou Etta (Porter) Altman.

Linwood was a long-time resident of Mount Olive Twp., NJ.  He was employed as a Lineman for JCP&L in Dover for many years before retiring. Linwood enjoyed spending most days doing yardwork, smoking Kool 100’s and watching Walker Texas Ranger.

Linwood is survived by his devoted sister, Lou Nelle Farrell, his cherished nieces, Corrine Hepworth and LuAnn Schneider, his brothers, Cleveland Altman, Stephen Brady and James Brady and several additional extended relatives and friends.

Linwood’s Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Service to be announced by the family at a later date.   All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.   For memorial donations, please consider the charity of your choice.
