Obituary of Carol Von Rapacki

Carol Von Rapacki, 83, previously of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. She was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Henry & Helen McPhail. Carol worked as an office manager for a pediatric allergist before her retirement. She was a devout Catholic. She adored the Virgin Mary and said the rosary daily. She enjoyed watching EWTN, especially Mother Angelica. She loved going down the shore especially Wildwood and Cape May. She also enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Going out to dinner with family and friends was one of her favorites. Carol is predeceased by her brother Michael Firstbrook in 1963, her husband Albert Von Rapacki in 2001 and her daughter Helen Von Rapacki in 2018. She is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Angowski and her husband Steven Angowski of Hopatcong, NJ, Lorraine Simone and her husband David Simone of Branchville, NJ, her grandson Michael Angowski and his wife Sarah Angowski of Asbury, NJ, her great grandchildren Cookie Angowski, Gabriel and Lily-Grace. Carol's funeral mass and celebration of life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
