Obituary of Carolyn E. Clark

Carolyn E. Clark formerly of Vernon and Toms River passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Mire Vie Care Center of Montville surrounded by her loving family. She was 81 years old. Carolyn was born on June 1, 1943 in Newark, NJ to the late Harry and the late Elizabeth "Lorraine" Hageman.

Carolyn grew up in Bloomfield and was employed as a Bank Manager at Ramapo Bank on the campus of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ for many years before retiring. In addition, she also worked as an Accounting Clerk at TotalTel for several years. Carolyn enjoyed baseball and was a big fan of the WPC Pioneers and the NY Yankees. Her greatest passion in life was her family – from her great-grandparents to her cherished great-grandchildren, FAMILY was everything to Carolyn! Always one to be up for anything, she loved attending family sporting events, smoking everyone in trivial pursuit, traveling anywhere and shopping.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted children; Diane Grapentine, Susan Struz, Janet Revels and Karen Clark, her cherished grandchildren; Stacey Benner (Josh), David Grapentine (Becky), Erin Grapentine, Amber Revels (Dashaun), Alicia Revels, Thomas Revels and Harrison Capalbo and 12 great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include her siblings, Richard Hageman (Stella), Virginia Hageman and Jeff Hageman (Bobbi) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Carolyn's Life Celebration Services will include a Visitation on Saturday, October 26th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. Carolyn will be laid to rest privately at the Ocean County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Toms River, NJ. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
