Obituary of Ann Marie Harlos

Ann Marie Harlos of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ann was 73 years old. Ann was born on November 5, 1951 in Astoria Queens, NY to the late Walter and Ann (Schnieder) Spangenberg.

Ann was employed as an Inspector at Howmet, Dover, NJ for 35 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Jude Church, Hopatcong, Hopatcong Seniors and The Lunch Bunch. She enjoyed reading, bowling, playing bingo and taking trips with her close friends. Most importantly she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband David Harlos in 2010. She is survived by her loving children Steve Santucci (Lora Pitman) Santucci, Dawn Santucci (Chris Vierschilling) and Scott Santucci and his partner Aly Bornemann. Her cherished grandchildren, Thomas Santucci, Will Santucci and Alex Santucci. Her brother Martin Spangenberg and her sister-in-law's Joan Spangenberg and Hope Spangenberg. She is predeceased by her sister Margaret (Spangenberg) Brennan, her brothers Walter Spangenberg and William "Billy" Spangenberg, her sister Dorothy Spangenberg, also her brother-in-law John Brennan and her sister-in-law Patricia Spangenberg. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Ann's Life Celebration will be on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm with a prayer service to be held at 5:30pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, New Jersey.
