Obituary of Frances "June" Zichella

Frances “June” Zichella of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Merry Heart Assisted Living in Roxbury Twp. surrounded by her loving family.   She was 91 years old.  June was born on June 29, 1933, in Newark, NJ to the late John and the late Louise (Clark) Reynolds. She was raised lovingly by the late Agnes Reynolds.

June was a long-time resident of Hopatcong. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hopatcong Fire Department and an avid dog lover but her greatest joy was spending quality time with her loving family. June was known for her kind, caring, and loving nature. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and her smile would light up a room.

June is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Louis “Lou”, her devoted children; Denise Bond and Michael Zichella; her cherished grandchildren; Krista Schroeder (Marc), Sean Bond (YooEun), and Brittany Rose, two great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, her good friends, and Francois Errandonea and Michael Lynch, who were like sons to her. June was pre-deceased by her son-in-law Mark Bond, her son Eddie Rose, her brother Eddie Reynolds, and her dear friend Marcelle Savoie.

June’s Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, December 4^th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 with a Catholic Prayer Service offered at 7:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.
