Obituary of John A. Candido

John A. Candido of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at home. He was 63 years old. John was born on February 11, 1961 to John J. Candido and the late Mary Jo (Schrieber) Candido. John worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Hopatcong for 38 years before his retirement. He enjoyed hiking, weight training and camping. John is survived by his wife Diane (Morgan) Candido of 43 years. He is survived by his children Andrew, John, Daniel, Matthew, Christopher and Nicholas. His grandchildren Matthew, Logan,Oliver, Camden, Landon, Hudson, Noah, Austin, Ryler and Sofia. He is also survived by his sister's Missy, Elizabeth, Candice and Lauren. John's Life Celebration will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 3 to 7pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ with a family eulogy to be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home. All other services for John will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's memory to a charity of your choice.
