Obituary of Frank Demeo, Sr.

Frank Demeo, Sr., 90, lifelong Netcong resident, passed away peacefully on Friday December 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 31, 1934 in Netcong to the late Peter, Sr. and the late Vincetta (Guerra) Demeo, Frank worked at Dover Handbag, Hewlett-Packard and M&M Mars. Frank was an avid NY Mets and NY Giants fan. Frank was a member of the St. Cesario Society of Netcong and the Netcong Sports Club. He loved to play the lottery, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially during the annual St. Cesario Festival every year. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Denville.

Frank was predeceased by his wife; Joan, brothers Samuel Demeo and Peter Demeo, Jr., sister; Rosemary Nunn, brothers in law Robert Nunn and Frank Romaine and sisters in law Claire and Sharon Demeo.

Survivors include his children; Frank Demeo, Jr. (Laurie), Joanne Greame (Robert), Philip Demeo (Patricia) and Sharon Demeo, brothers; Lewis Demeo (Maureen), John Demeo and Michael Demeo (Lorraine), sister; Antoinette Romaine, eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

Frank's Life Celebration will include visiting hours on Sunday December 29th from 2:00-6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday December 30th beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville, NJ. Frank will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt.
