Obituary of James J. Pellek

James J. Pellek, 76, of Stillwater, NJ, passed away on Friday January 3, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus.

Born in New Jersey on July 23, 1948 to the late John and the late Helen (Best) Pellek, Jim has resided in Stillwater for the past 16 years. He was a Communications Craftsman for AT&T of Flanders, NJ, retiring after 26 years of service. In his retirement, he worked for 8 years at TDI Power in Hackettstown in electronics assembly.

Jim enjoyed tinkering with all things automotive, electric and radio related. He was Ham certified and operated under the call sign N2ACW. He was an avid traveler and loved exploring and camping with his family.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Gianturco) and his brothers; Ronald and Joseph Pellek.

Survivors include his children; Tamara English (Kevin), Danielle Craig (Gavin), Timothy Pellek and Ruth Ann Pellek (Jason Staton), four grandchildren; Helen & Alec Craig and Christopher and Lorraine Staton, siblings Richard & Paul Pellek, Roberta Ann Rush and Mary Grover and brother-in-law; Mark Martini. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A joint Life Celebration in honor of Jim and his late wife, Lorraine will include a memorial gathering on Saturday May 10, 2025 from 10:00a-12:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
